Activities you must do while you are in The Bahamas

Bahamas is well known as an amazing holiday destination for absolutely everybody. You may go with your family, friends, partner and you´ll have an incredible time there. Although many people thinks that Bahamas is just full of beautiful beaches, which is true, there are tons of more activities to do here. 

Atlantis

Bahamas is full of beautiful landscapes where you can find tons of wildlife. A way to experience the amount of animals that Bahamas offers is through out the zoos and aquariums. As we alredy mentioned through Atlantis you can enjoy of a unique aquarium, where you can find the beautiful tropical fishes and even sharks! Also you will enjoy many of the atractions Atlantis has to offer.

Swim with Pigs  

It is one of the favorite activities of thousands of tourists who travel to the Bahamas every year and can not leave the opportunity to swim with these curious and nice animals. However, these animals are found only in Big Major Cay and are approximately 20 wild pigs. There are different theories of how they came to Big Major Cay. Among them are the abandonment by Dutch sailors, the survival to a shipwreck and a strategy simply marketing. Although the origin of the pigs is not known, what is known is that the pigs live on the beach and wait for the tourists to take the ideal photo and spend time with them.

Watersports

As you may know, Bahamas is well known for its beautiful and crystalline beaches, but besides swimming in them, you can perform a wide variety of water sports that you will enjoy with your family or friends. The sports best knowns are snorkeling and diving, being under the sea swimming with millions of animals and discovering a new world is something that you should try if you are on one of these beautiful beaches. In addition Bahamas also offers the possibility of handling kayak or activities that sound like jumping on a Flyboard.

Zoos

You can not miss the Ardastra gardens and zoo, where you will see the national bird of this wonderful island, the flamingos. You may see this iconic Caribbean bird doing the worlwide famous marching in action! Together with lory parrots, exotics jaguars even snakes! This place is home of unbelievable flowers and trees, where you can also see and try varietis of tropical fruits, such as sapodillas, mangos and more!

There is no excuse to get bored in the Bahamas, there are activities that are suitable for each person and that will give you guaranteed fun and memorable experiences.
